We had an extreme weekend at the Xtreme Wheels show, where we had what is
becoming the typical highs and lows for our team. Let’s explain the low point first and get the out of the way.
I crashed Nosferatu whilst performing a rolling burnout in the live exhibition arena.
The damage is superficial but quite extensive so we have some more expense and work cut out for us, more later…..
As you may have read on earlier news we were delighted to have our offer accepted to bring Nosferatu to the Xtreme Wheels show and we were placed in a prime position where all of the public would walk past out stand. Mina, Sparks, Wednesday, Pugsley and I all rose bright and early and set off to Yeovil arriving at about 9:00am followed by Hunch and Igor half and hour later (Hunch blamed his sat-nav for being late, but I think he was distracted by Igor’s continual chatting and story telling). We pulled Nosferatu out of the trailer, set up our banner then Wednesday gave him a good wash. Mina organised the tee shirts and fliers and we waited for the public to arrive. |

| Within minutes of the show opening we had a crowd around our car and the whole team were chatting with the visitors and answering all and any questions. Many kids got to sit in the driver's seat and proud Dads got to take some nice pictures. The visitors and other race car owners, who had not seen Nosferatu close up, loved the image of the car and the subtle skull graphics and all commented on how individual the car is. | |||
