Team, the news piece on Eurodragster about the Barton Motor Show looks really good. Nice one. Any help that may be required between now and then with the car or engine, or indeed on the day itself, then I'm the hideously deformed creature you're looking for!

Hunch........Noooooooooo we will miss you and your laughable hump that we all prod for some fun. Where are we going to rest our goblets of blood if you are not there? But if there is a call for expert bell ringing then I suppose you have to answer that call. Wednesday will have to step up to the mark and send you pics for inclusion on the site. We will miss you

Dear Rog Si & Tim
You are very welcome mate - we went throught hell and back getting to grips with our engine and have learnt a lot over the years. We are still learning but now have a reliable motor which needs very little attention. Running blown "A" motors is nothing like running a carb engine- oiling, fueling, ingition etc are all very different and what works on a carb engine will definately not work on one of these. Its a costly excercise getting it right and putting in systems to protect the engine but once you are there- its loads more fun & a lot less expensive. See you at the track!

The best bit of slow motion video footage has now been uploaded to the videos page (click on the General Car Videos tab when you get to the video section!)

I'm wondering whether Igor needs a new name. Instead of igor the Silent One, maybe he should henceforth and forever be known as Igor the Observant One?

What A Day! Despite suffering engine damage on the first run we are counting our lucky stars that the cracked main caps were spotted prior to going out again - had we not seen this, we would have completely destroyed the engine!
Nik & Chris - Great to see you both - you totally made our day- you are welcome to come & drink "tea" with us anytime"! Stay in touch! R.I.P
