The 3 pictures above show what we can achieve with badly damaged carbon fibre panels. The image on the left shows the broken and splintered nose section on the Nosferatu drag racing car, which hit a concrete crash barrier at around 100 mph. The image in the centre was taken once all the broken parts had been painstakingly bonded back together, bringing everything back into the correct shape. The image on the right shows what the repair looked like once the area had been ground down and fresh carbon sheet had been bonded back over the repairs, before final finishing and painting.
